#mumbairises

The Corona Quilt Project is a public art installation of 12,000 squares of decorated fabric that have been quilted into large artworks. This project has been an outlet for people to express their personal pandemic experiences, to discuss self expression and mental health and bring communities together.

Each one of these squares is made of excess fabric that has been up-cycled and stitched together by the Bombay Shirt Company to create a uniquely custom-made experience.

We're so happy to see these custom-made quilt installations scattered through the city we call home.
